Introducing the cover art I crafted for Courtney's Shadow by A.M. Dickinson. Utilizing the power of 3ds Max, I embarked on a magical journey to depict Flora, a tiny beautiful fairy.
I modeled Flora, ensuring that every aspect matched what the client had asked for. From her bright blue eyes reminiscent of sparkling crystals to her colorful butterfly wings, light green skin adorned with caterpillar markings and full wavy red hair, Flora truly came to life in the digital realm.
But it didn't stop there! To add an extra touch of magic, I immersed myself in the project, modeling an old decanter and employing simulations to create mist swirling inside it. This added an ethereal quality that perfectly complemented Flora's otherworldly presence.
The ancient pages of the spell book came to life as I hand-drew the spells, adding authenticity to the scene. The blend of digital artistry and manual craftsmanship further transported viewers into the captivating world of Courtney's Shadow created by A.M. Dickinson.
Through a combination of 3D modeling, texturing, dynamic posing, and hand-drawn elements, the final result is a book cover that effortlessly captured the essence of Flora and A.M. Dickinson's story. Prepare to be enchanted as you dive into the magical world of Courtney's Shadow!
